Opel spokesman Martin Hejral has been named “PR Manager of the Year 2025” in the Czech Republic. The award was presented by the Motor Journalists Club (Klub motoristických novinářů, KMN) together with “Automakers”, the news portal for the Czech automotive industry. All motor journalists in the club were called to vote; Almost half of all votes cast went to the Opel PR manager.

“I would like to thank everyone for their many years of support and trust, which I greatly appreciate,” said Martin Hejral at the awards ceremony. The award was presented by KMN chairman Michal Busta and Erich Handl, editor-in-chief of ‘Automakers’. According to the jury, Hejral scored with “good communication, he gives his heart to the brand, has a friendly demeanour, a professional attitude – and is funny.” According to one vote, Hejral is “a real joker”.
