Irmscher, the tuning company from Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, is now introducing a special sporty limited edition for which only 100 vehicles will be produced: the Irmscher Astra GTC Turbo i 1400. The model is available at select Opel dealers or directly from Irmscher. Following a successful first series at the beginning of the year (with a 1.6L turbo engine), the second series is now on the starting blocks (with a 1.4L turbo engine). When customizing the Astra GTC, Irmscher adds exclusive parts to emphasize a distinctively sporty design.
LOWERED SUSPENSION AND 20-INCH ALLOY WHEELS
Add-on parts are distinguished by their perfect fit and seamless integration into the design of the Opel Astra GTC. To ensure that the car makes a big splash on the scene, Irmscher has equipped it with the newly cranked-up power of the Astra 1.4 turbo at 170 hp together with a four-tailpipe exhaust system. Lowering the suspension by 30 mm with a progressive spring rate together with 20-inch alloy wheels, the Astra GTC brings the power right down to the street, where it easily grabs all the attention.
On the tail end: Here a distinctive roof spoiler and diffuser complement the elliptical stainless steel tailpipes on both sides to create a dynamic agility.
CARBON FIBER RADIATOR GRILLE
The balanced proportions of the new Astra GTC immediately communicate a powerful dynamic – an attribute that Irmscher consistently emphasizes and continues to refine in all its design concepts. From the front, what pops out immediately are the Irmscher carbon fiber grille, harmoniously integrated with the front spoiler lip, and the 20-inch rims in the black Evo Star and Turbo Star designs.
SIDE SKIRTS AND STAINLESS STEEL TAILPIPES
From the side, Irmscher graces the new Astra with scene-stealing contoured side skirts. The sporty ambitions of the Irmscher Astra Turbo i 1400 are also quite evident on the tail end, where a distinctive roof spoiler and diffuser complement the elliptical stainless steel tailpipes on both sides to create a dynamic agility. Colorful decorative elements designed especially for this limited edition can be found on the quarter panel and hood.
FINE NAPPA LEATHER INTERIOR
Inside the vehicle we also find unique, handcrafted design highlights. Seats, door panels, and armrests are custom-made by Irmscher using the finest Nappa leather and set off by white stitching to match with the exterior color scheme. Irmscher further refines the interior with aluminum door pins and pedals. All accessories are distinguished by extraordinary design and quality – striking both to the eye and to the touch – significantly enhancing the already impressive base model of the Opel Astra GTC.
