Opel and Amazon have launched a joint campaign in Spain: Only 72 hours after an order was placed through the online retailer’s Internet platform, an Opel Grandland X was delivered. Javier Luque Mora from Madrid, Spain, placed the order. “The purchasing process was really easy,” says the 50-year-old. “I’m a loyal Opel and Amazon customer. It was great to combine the two. This car has all the features that my family and I need.”
Customers in Spain and the Balearic Islands also have the option to order the new Opel Grandland X during its rollout phase. More specifically, they can order the special edition of the Opel Grandland X Excellence 1.6 CDTi with 120 hp in blue with a black roof and six-speed automatic transmission for €29,564.74.
Dealers on board
Here’s how it works: When the customer places the order online, they need to make a prepayment of €500. This is later deducted from the total cost. If the customer changes their mind after making the pre-booking, this amount is reimbursed. The closest dealer contacts the customer to clarify additional contractual and payment details. Once the sales contract with the dealer has been signed, the vehicle is delivered to the corresponding dealership. There, the customer can familiarize themselves with the details and take the car home – a mere 72 hours after placing the order.
