The 25 Leading Women in the European automotive industry were honored on September 29, 2016 in Paris.

For the ninth time, “Automotive News Europe” has published its first list of the 25 Leading Women
in the European automotive industry. With Tina Mueller and Katherine Worthen, two Opel executives are part of this year’s list of female automobile leaders in Europe.

 

Tina Mueller is Chief Marketing Officer and management board member of the Opel Group. She has been working for Opel since August 2013 and is responsible for the entire strategic brand and product flow. Kathy Worthen has been Vice President Purchasing and supply chain Europe since September 2014. She is also member of the management board of the Opel Group.

Automotive News Europe’s annual list of the 25 Leading Women” represents the rise of women in the once male-dominated industry since 2008. Today, two women run European automotive brands and nearly every brand in the region has women in key positions. The award ceremony took place on September, 29 on the occasion of the „Mondial de l’Automobile“.
